  • Thrive Media Africa Partners with HackJos 2025 to Ignite MSME Growth through Innovation

Thrive Media Africa is proud to announce its partnership and participation in HackJos 2025, the flagship challenge-driven hackathon and technology conference hosted by nHub, Northern Nigeria’s pioneering innovation hub. This year’s theme, “Igniting MSME Growth through Innovation,” highlights the crucial role of technology in transforming Nigeria’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Set in the innovation-driven city of Jos, HackJos 2025 will bring together Nigeria’s brightest developers, entrepreneurs, designers, innovators, and changemakers to co-create practical, tech-enabled solutions that directly tackle the pressing challenges MSMEs face today.

With MSMEs contributing over 50% of Nigeria’s GDP yet struggling with barriers such as access to finance, markets, digital tools, and skilled talent, HackJos 2025 will spotlight four critical areas of innovation:

  • Digitalization & E-commerce
  • Financial Inclusion
  • Productivity & Operational Efficiency
  • Market Access & Linkages

“HackJos is more than an event; it’s a platform for real change. At Thrive Media Africa, we are committed to amplifying these stories of innovation and supporting the businesses and startups that are driving Nigeria’s economic future,” said Yusuf Ahmed, Founder/CEO, Thrive Media Africa.

Across two days, participants will design, prototype, and pitch scalable solutions while gaining access to mentorship from industry leaders, exposure to investors, and invaluable networking opportunities. Alongside the hackathon, the tech conference will feature panel sessions and fireside chats with experts exploring the future of entrepreneurship, innovation, and MSME growth in Nigeria.

HackJos 2025 also marks a milestone, the 10th Anniversary of nHub. Over the past decade, nHub has been a trailblazer in Northern Nigeria’s tech ecosystem, training talent, accelerating startups, and building an inclusive digital community. This year’s event will not only celebrate nHub’s achievements but also cast a bold vision for the next decade of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Thrive Media Africa joins nHub in inviting developers, creatives, founders, and partners to register, compete, collaborate, and contribute to shaping solutions that strengthen Nigeria’s MSME sector.
